Eligibility & Client Responsibility

Client affirms they are the biological mother of the baby whose placenta is being encapsulated and that they are requesting encapsulation for personal use only.
Client agrees to properly store the placenta in a clean, double-bagged container on ice or in a refrigerator/cooler within 2 hours of birth.
Client is responsible for ensuring timely communication with Womb of Wellness within 24 hours of delivery for pickup coordination.

Health & Safety

The placenta must be free from signs of contamination (e.g., meconium-stained without membrane separation, infection, pathology testing).
Womb of Wellness reserves the right to decline encapsulation if the placenta is deemed unsafe or unsuitable upon inspection.
If a placenta is found to be unsuitable, no encapsulation will be performed, and no refund will be issued (see Refund Policy).

Encapsulation Services

All services are performed in a clean, dedicated workspace following OSHA standards for sanitation and safe handling.
Encapsulation is completed using the selected method (Traditional or Raw), and the client assumes responsibility for understanding the method and its implications.

Disclaimers

Placenta encapsulation is not regulated by the FDA and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition.
Womb of Wellness does not guarantee specific results from placenta consumption. Reported benefits are anecdotal and vary from person to person.
Client agrees to consult with a healthcare provider before consuming capsules, especially if they have pre-existing health conditions, infections, or concerns.

Liability Waiver

Womb of Wellness is not responsible for any adverse effects or outcomes associated with the use of placenta capsules or other products.
Client releases Womb of Wellness, its owner, and agents from any and all liability associated with the encapsulation process or use of encapsulated placenta.

Privacy

All client information is kept strictly confidential and will never be shared or sold. Testimonials and photos will only be shared with written permission.

Changes & Cancellations

Womb of Wellness reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time.

By proceeding with payment and submitting your intake form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

Refund Policy

At Womb of Wellness, we value transparency, fairness, and your peace of mind. Below is our refund policy for placenta encapsulation services:

Reservation Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to reserve your spot on our calendar. This deposit secures your availability and covers administrative and on-call time.

Full Payment

Full payment is due by the time of placenta pickup. If payment has been made in full and services have not yet been rendered, partial refunds may be issued on a case-by-case basis, minus the $50 non-refundable deposit.

Cancellation Policy

If you decide to cancel:

Before placenta pickup: You may receive a refund minus the $50 deposit.
After placenta pickup but before encapsulation begins: A 50% refund may be issued.
Once encapsulation has begun: No refunds will be given.

Unusable Placenta

If your placenta is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for encapsulation (e.g., due to improper storage, infection, or hospital pathology policies), no refund will be issued, as time has already been committed. However, you may choose to apply any remaining balance toward a keepsake item (e.g., print, cord art) if available.

Failure to Notify

Clients must contact Womb of Wellness within 24 hours of birth to arrange pickup. Failure to notify may result in forfeiture of services with no refund.
